Supermarket - The first Week

Alice looked away, tears springing to her eyes.
"They're dead," she said without looking at her. "I watched them die."
She wiped her eyes.
"Here as in, here at the supermarket, or here, as in here in the town?" she asked.

"In the town... they walked out of the apartment a short time before the infection broke out. Maybe they are at the college. Would you like to help me?" Lola asked.

"I can give you a hand if you need it," said Alice.

"Thank you... well, what's the situation? How many are here? How many can fight and what weapons do we have?" Lola looks around maybe 20 people are here, one child. The most of them looks very hopless.

"They're just randomers off the streets, they cant help. I've got one weapon, but plenty of ammunition. I can help, but on my own."

"hmm it would be the best if they stay here and wait. But I will not stay, I will fight, come what may come! Better die in battle than do nothing." she said.

"Yeah."
Alice looked around.
"We'd better get out the way you came in. They've sealed off the whole place."

"It sound like a good idea. What's with that guy over there? The sleeping one. I'm sure he will come with us... what do you think?"

"We'd better leave him, he looks knackered! Let him sleep!"

"You're right." Lola takes her sword and goes to the open venterlation shaft again.

Alice crawled through and dropped down.
"Let's go!"

(I dont know. strange? new one...)

"The college is over there" Lola looks northward. "Should we walk on the road?"

"Yeah, sounds like a plan. Keep to the walls."


Elsewhere, Alec made his way towards the collage, he needed to check if any survivers were there.

Lola climbed down the supermarket wall. When she find one's feet again she looked around. "It's so quiet. Do you hear somebody.. or something?", Lola asked. "I hate the quiet before the battle", she thought.

Alice listened in, she heard footsteps.


Alec froze at the sound of voices. He pulled out one of his guns and edged round the supermarket.

A man came around the corner. "Stop!" Lola shouted. "Who are you? What do you want?"

Alec held up his hands.
"My name is Alec," he shouted.

Alice lowered her gun.

"I'm Lola and that's Alice. We are on the way to the college. Maybe are any survivers there. And you?", She asked the man.

"Looking for survivers. I was heading that way."

"Have you seen any Zombies on your way? Would you like to come with us? I think a man more can be helpful...."

Basil fumbled around with a switchboard in a building nearby. The switch board was connected to a neon sign for a hotel. The sign when completely lit up would say Hotel Plaza, but Basil sabataged some of the circuits for when he turned it on. The moment he flipped the switch, the red letters shone brightly, "H el P". The idea was to get someone's attention, but he wasn't aware of the supermarket several blocks away, nor the zombies approaching. He peered out of the window to see if anyone would send a signal back to him.

Tom looks out of the window. His eyes are sweeping around until a big red light catchs his attantion.
Without any visible reason he stands up and bunches out of the crowed of depressed persones which took seat or just stand around and walks fast to the sleeping person who somekind looked like the leader of this poor crowd and shake the persones shoulder. "Hey! Wake up!"

Seeing what the sign had attracted, Basil started backing away from the window. "Well, this is absolute ballocks." He pulled the sniper rifle off his backpack and reapproached the window. He looked down the scope and fired 3 shots in quick succesion, each hitting a zombie either in the head or upper torso. The deafening sound echoed across the streets nearby.
